MachinistData respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. If you believe that content on this site infringes your copyright, you may file a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) using the process below.
Filing a DMCA notice
To submit a takedown request, please provide the following information in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on the site that you claim is infringing, including its location (a URL or a clear description of the page).
- Your contact information — name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement of good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf, under penalty of perjury.

What happens next
When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will review the request, remove or restrict access to the material in question as appropriate, and notify the affected party. Where a counter-notice is valid, we may restore the material in accordance with the DMCA, and we may forward your counter-notice to the original complainant.
Repeated infringement
In appropriate circumstances, and at our discretion, we may terminate or limit the access of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
